Elevate Student Learning and Streamline your Workflow LIMITED
Tuesday May 6, 2025 1:30pm - 2:20pm EDT
If you find the idea of integrating AI into your classroom or personal experiences overwhelming, this session will help put your mind at ease. We will dive into three general categories of AI, and discuss key terminology that users of this technology should know. Additionally, we will discuss some practical ways for classroom teachers to integrate Generative AI as a teaching assistant, and streamline workflows to gain back valuable time. The session will conclude with information about the various large language models available today (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and CoPilot.) These chatbots generate conversation as you interact with them, so we will look at some basics of how to “prompt” them in conversation. You won’t be an experienced prompt engineer (yes, that’s a real thing) by the time we finish, but you’ll be much more comfortable with how to get started. Those who pre-register for this session will have Google Gemini and Notebook LM available under their Canton City Google accounts for the session.
