Hello my name is Micheala I am a mother of three wonderful boys. Married to my best friend and exploring partner Michael for 11 years. I first started my career with CCSD three years ago as a substitute kitchen assistant. I worked the summer program following my first year with the district. I fell in love with the teaching aspect. I then applied for a teachers assistant position the following school year. I was offered the position and placed at Gibbs Elementary. While working here I highly enjoyed assisting with our behavior students. Using deescalating techniques such as calm downs, sensory breaks, or simply having a conversation with my students. I applied for a special education cross cat assistant position this summer. I was fortunate to be offered the position. I am now currently a BMS at Fairmount Learning center. Looking forward to learning new techniques to help assist with my position.
